Our Story
At Agency of Care, we believe that true wellness flourishes in the comfort of home. Founded by Darshana (Dash), our agency is rooted in a profound personal caregiving journey.
Dash worked as a personal assistant for a client facing multiple organ failure. When doctors had done all they could and said hospice and end-of-life care was all that remained, Dash stepped in. Honoring the client’s wish to remain at home, she took over the case management and home care needs, carefully coordinated a team of caregivers, and oversaw every detail.
From a Gurney to Traveling the World
The result was a remarkable transformation. The client went from the precipice of hospice — traveling by gurney to dialysis three times a week — to recovery. Today she hikes regularly, travels the world, and lives a full, normal life.
A Family That Could Just Be Family
Just as important was what this meant for her family. With every detail of care managed, they could be truly present — as family, not as caregivers. They were free to visit, share precious moments, and simply support her recovery without the burden and quiet resentment that coordinating care so often creates.
